The list already has a header with just the list address in it:
List-Post, as per RFC 2369. Adding another one is a waste.
Your mailer should have a reply facility that uses the List-Post
header. Put it in your UI, and start using it. Then you can quit
carrying whether or not the list uses (abuses) Reply-To. If your
mailer doesn't have that functionality, fix it, or file a bug report,
or get a better mailer.
For those who want to reply to the author, the same advice applies
regarding a reply facility that sends to the author (ignoring
Reply-To). Then you to can quit caring whether or not a list abuses
(uses) Reply-To.
