During the last quick fixing of release problems most changes were only applied to the 1.4.x branch. One of the reasons 1.4.0 was not really nice was that patches applied to 1.3.x were never applied to 1.4.x.

Let's please stick to the clean trunk then 1.5.x then 1.4.x etc. strategy as long as the problem or code doesn't demand another procedure.

Hunting down all the missed patches and then forward porting is much more work. There are already about 14 commits of the last few days only applied to 1.4.x and missing from the higher branches and trunk.

Thanks!

Regards,

Rainer
