Glad you figured it out. No I did not try "options rotate", but it wouldn't have helped I was testing on OS X which doesn't have glibc but rather has a BSD based libc that's unique to the Mac. My Linux setups weren't in as easy of a situation to change to pure IPv6 resolvers.
