Hi, I give a try to the js webapp on my "real archiva setup". Working fine. (https://builds.apache.org/view/A-F/view/Archiva/job/archiva-all-maven-3.x-j dk-1.6/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/archiva/archiva-modules/archiva-web/arch iva-webapp-js/target/archiva-webapp-js-1.4-M3-SNAPSHOT.war)
### Remarks on the new UI Js webapp: -Proxy connectors list items by 5. (This limit can be part of some configuration appearance page so user can change) -Table are 100% width but are not so ugly with automatic width (This settings can be part of some configuration appearance page so user can change) -Sun icon sometimes strange (sunny for unlock, and lock when lock) sunny seems saying yes so was guessing user was locked. Technical: -I had "one Manager Repository Stats" popup staying forever in my browser. (Cannot reproduce easily) ### Global remark Archiva Role Complex to use :p. Have not a precise proposal. Minimized js/css are for bandwitch? Speed ? Maybe it is possible to setup gzip transfer on css and script folder with tomcat. Not yet feature complete but I use the JS version now :p Eric, Early adopter -----Message d'origine----- De : Olivier Lamy [mailto:[email protected]] Envoyé : jeudi 15 mars 2012 11:39 À : [email protected] Objet : Re: [RFC] New UI Something else I have in mind is to minimize js/css for use in index.html (index-dev.html will use non minized css/js). 2012/3/15 Olivier Lamy <[email protected]>: > Hello, > I made some progress on the new UI. > You can test it with the following build > https://builds.apache.org/view/A-F/view/Archiva/job/archiva-all-maven- > 3.x-jdk-1.6/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/archiva/archiva-jetty-js/targ > et/apache-archiva-js-1.4-M3-SNAPSHOT-bin.zip > . > Currently it's based on a jetty container (without anymore jsp > support) and the current "limited" wrapper. > I'd like to have something based on Tomcat and commons-daemon (for > better support of 64 platforms). > Regarding the UI, the top task is here: > https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-1497 (have a look at various sub > tasks). > The TODOs list is: > * more selenium tests > * artifact info details screens (something I will work in the coming > days) > * other subtasks > * more selenium tests > * and last but not least more selenium tests ( :-) ) > > I'd like to have your impressions on this new UI (feel free to add sub > task) > > Thanks, > -- > Olivier Lamy > Talend: http://coders.talend.com > http://twitter.com/olamy | http://linkedin.com/in/olamy -- Olivier Lamy Talend: http://coders.talend.com http://twitter.com/olamy | http://linkedin.com/in/olamy
