that's a bit weird issue as only the log4j2 slf4j impl is provided
(included in the war)
And I don't see such issue running the war within tomcat or the jetty bundle.

Looks to be a very WAS specific issue maybe related to
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wchelp/v7r0m0/topic/com.ibm.commerce.install.doc/refs/rigslf4jbindings.htm

Is there any slf4j use at WAS level which make any conflict ? (doh
remember the old good time with commons-logging :-) )
