Improve netbeans coders productivity

Hi,
 I'm using netbeans as ide and it use checkstyle plugin configuration for 
formating.
  It should be in the reporting section but the current archiva configuration 
cut inheritence.
  
 Would it be possible to change inheritence configuration to default (only for 
checkstyle) ?
