I was pleased to see that finally argoeclipse is now a life project. I
immediately installed your
latest release, but i wanted to use the new java import feature and therefore i
tried to
create argoeclipse from the current trunk. therefore i tried to checkout the 12
projects according
to your description in the devnotes, see

Unfortunately i got some trouble and want to report this to you. Here we go:
1.) (minor problem) I could NOT get eclipse to import the team project set as
provided on your site.
Since this has nothing to do with argoeclipse i just keep this here for
informal purpose.
I finally could check out the twelve relevant projects manually and that
worked well.
See attached repositories.gif to doublecheck whether i grabbed the correct
subprojects.

2.) (This is the major problem) Since the projects did autocompile, after some
time i could see all
but 2 subprojects to be successfully generated. The two remaining
subprojects:
argoeclipse-core
argoeclipse-ui
did bring up 62 errors. A cleanup of all the subprojects did not solve the
problem. The 62 errors remain.
I tried it with with the two sun java distributions jdk1.5.0_06 and
j2sdk1.4.2_04
I then browsed through the code and found indeed some obviously broken java
references.
May it be that your last update on trunk from 10.12.2006 unintentionally
broke things ?

My installation runs on windows-xp
I hope this helps to either clearify what i did wrong or to get the subprojects
correctly in synch.
I will go back to the native argo for now and hoping for some clearification to
this issue.
