[argouml-dev] Announcing gef-layout-0.10pre1

Hi everybody,

I am a Summer of Code student working on layout algorithms for UML diagrams.

I have a 'pre-release' of what's working so far - see the packaged jar files in
http://gef-layout.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList in the pre-releases folder.

To install, put both jar files in the build/ext directory of ArgoUML and the functionality will appear as a plugin.

You have two options:
 - The Sugiyama layout is a basic hierarchical layouter
 - The Class Diagram layout includes support for rectilinear edges and constellations of nodes, e.g. packages.

I am currently working on the orthogonal layout of the association edges.
