Hello Tom!
I get confused by how you formulate this. Especially the comments about
how to implement this are confusing. I thought I was fairly clear in the
description on how the set up we have built using tigris is working and
how to set up a new host (http://argouml-gen.tigris.org/techdoc.html).
My host has been running nightly builds for over a year and we have been
running within the Xenofarm setup for several years before that. Both of
these have a less than 100% availability with the Lysator web server
being down for several months now and my host being turned off for a
couple of days since I have had house guests staying in the guest room.
If this is a comment on the availability or the functionality in either
of these, could you please be specific?
I have set the nightly builds up in this way (tigris centric with low
investment hosts) since I did not find anyone contributing a compilation
or junit test farm to the open source community. I had a look at the
sourceforge farm way back but I thought the firewall rules were too
strict for this purpose so I didn't use it then. Maybe things have
changed now.
