Good luck with that new life! :)
I have a little experience with UML profiles. We implemented this on
MaCMAS extending the UML metamodel with stereotypes and tagged values.
Maybe I can help you with this in the summer :)

I think we can collaborate on this problems. We both must work with
ArgoUML modules (that's the name the ArgoUML community use for
"plugins"), and I have some experience with that. I made my first test
with this, and it worked.

Please check my svn:

http://argouml-sequence.tigris.org/source/browse/argouml-sequence/trunk/src/

There you'll find two important things. The Manifest, located at the
META-INF folder, and a class called SequenceDiagramModule. This is a
little proof of concept that adds a new item to the ArgoUML menu bar.
Building it, creating a jar and copying it into a EXT folder inside a
ArgoUML package will work.

Thanks, I'll take a look at your code... I noticed that the modules that
come with the ArguUML default zip file follow the old module style (as
stated at the documentation), is this true?

I think that you must modify the trunk/www folder of your project. I
haven't do it yet, but looking at trunk/www of the ArgoUML checkout
will give us a hint.

At last, I want to say that I created a tag in my blog called ArgoUML.
It will be useful for my mentor (Bob) to know how I'm working and my
progress, and also a way for me to control myself. If someone want to
read it, please check

(RSS at http://penyaskitodice.wordpress.com/tag/argouml/feed/)

Hope this helps,
