Hello Filippo!

MDR is the right track for parts of this. You will have to dig deeper into
the details of MDR (and MOF) to understand this.

But for diagrams, there is also a structure of data connected to GEF (search
for Fig classes). Those keep information about where in the diagram, sizes,
colors, fonts.

I am still hoping that we eventually can move also the diagram information
into MDR/MOF or some other model component but I fear it will not happen
very soon.

Hi everybody, I'm an Italian student interested in the ArgoUML tool from
the point of view of the logic structure that sustain the implementation.
In particular my objective is to understand which internal data structures
are used to store the user's UML diagram while he's working on the visual
part of Argo and which codes of Argo implement them.
I've tried to understand this by reading the cookbook of ArgoUML project
but the only useful thing I've found about this problem is a link to
NetBeans MDR. Further reading to MDR documentations didn't help me so much
because I haven't understood the exact way in which MDR keep track of the
data to store.
I'm sorry for disturb and I thank you all!
Filippo

P.S. I'm sorry also for my english and I hope you can understand me
