Hi Marat, The discussion that Tom points were when maven 1.1 was the last release. Things changed too much in maven2, so much of that discussion, or the patches attached, have no sense currently.
More recently, I suggested switching from Ant to Maven2. http://argouml.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=dev&msgNo=20457 There was some work done, and I tried to improve some POMs. As ArgoUML is composed of several modules, I started with those which have less dependencies. Anyway, I didn't have completed any significant change to the way argouml is built. As you can suppose, I'll be very glad if the switch to Maven is successful, but currently I'm not as sure as I was of the benefits from switching. Take care that Ant is integrated perfectly with Eclipse, so the MDR code generation is automatic. I'm not a Maven expert, but I'm not sure this can be done in Eclipse with Maven.
