About advertisement of the IRC channel, is my fault. I'l try to fix that ASAP.
About IRC death, IRC is died for looking a girlfriend, but not for
open source projects.
Most of them have their chats on IRC, and they work fine.
If you know about a better alternative, let me now.

Our mailing lists are on nabble too:
http://www.nabble.com/argouml---users-f9622.html
http://www.nabble.com/argouml---dev-f9623.html

AFAICR, Linus said that Tigris infrastructure will allow that forums -
mailing lists mapping in their next release, so we can wait for it.
