In an attempt to start appointing persons to improve the communication...
Could you please assume the responsibility for the part of the communication
that has to do with GSoC 2008? I suggest you:
1. Update the text on GSoC 2008 on the home page. It is no longer
interesting.
2. Write a News item about the GSoC 2008 projects now that it is clear what
their scope is.
3. Keep the GSoC 2008 page updated with current status on each project
throughout the summer.
4. Make sure each student project posts a News item sometimes during the
summer or autumn on their accomplishments either by the student or by the
mentor.
