Correct. If you install the Checklipse plugin from http://downloads.sourceforge.net/checkclipse/de.mvmsoft.checkclipse.feature_2.2.0.bin.dist.zip?modtime=1206907217&big_mirror=0 by unzipping it in eclipse/dropins you should pick up all the settings which are stored in SVN and the next time you do a build you'll see the Checkstyle violations flagged in your projects (do a complete rebuild if you want to get everything checked right away).
