Just to add a word of encouragement to other developers... With only a few bug fixes to complete, there are probably only a few developers involved with those those particular bugs. During this period, it can be tempting for everyone else to take a back seat for a while (I notice that I certainly have).
But there is still plenty that can be done! If testing and verifying things is not your cup of tea, you can still work on issues & features, comment on them, submit new patches to the issue tracker, or simply just work on your local copy without committing. As Linus said in his message, the website and documentation are still open for fixes. Now is a good time for anyone on the sidelines of the project to flick through the web site, looking out for grammatical errors, or any changes we could do to make it better. Once we get to 0.26, we are sure to get a lot more traffic heading our way! If you don't have commit access, create an issue and attach a patch to it cc'ing me (dthompson), I'll help you out.
