The big thing that the Tigris upgrade brings to the mailing list is to join
them with Discussion lists. That is probably the biggest visible change.
This means that it is no longer a mail archive that is available on the site
but more of a Discussion list view of the contents of the lists.

You can see what it will look like by browsing to
http://argouml.stage.tigris.org and selecting Discussion in the tools. (The
stage site is an old snapshot of the entire site.)
