I've committed the first slice of this work. I thought just doing UseCase diagrams would be a good start since they're simple, but even they require a lot of a lot of the basics, so most of the Class diagram is done as well. This is a pretty broad refactoring, so please help with testing and open bug reports for any problems found. If anyone would like to help with the rest of the work, pick a diagram and update issue 5500 to let everyone know you are working on it.
