In about half an hour, I plan to set the tag for the 0.28.beta1 release.

This release is done with one outstanding P2 issue (issue 5562). Bob has
promised to take care of that in the next couple of days so I am confident
that there will be no problems.
If there are any last minute commits for the alpha period, please be quick
to contact me. I will run the tests now and then start the release.
