To solve the problem you describe, it would be sufficient to show a
message (when saving) like this:  "Warning. The file 'test.zargo' has
been modified on disk since it was read. Do you want to overwrite
anyhow? - Yes/No"

This instead of a lock, which seems to me a dangerous thing to do.
