You shouldn't need to change project settings for debugging. Just the
launch configurations.

If you drop down the Run toolbutton you'll see Open Run Dialog... from
there you will see the ArgoUML launchers under Java Application

Select one of those and you'll see an Arguments tab where you can set
the VM args for setting and to configure what modules to look for on
startup.

The Classpath tab can let you set what projects, jars etc to have in
the classpath.

If you can't find a launcher that is good for you then duplicate one
by right clicking on its name and modify your local copy.
