Sorry for having not taken enough interest in this before. What with holidays, illnesses and now madness at work I've had a hard time fitting in time to look at this.
I admire your perseverance. If you can attach your patch to http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=5879 then I'll take a look over the next couple of days. Note that issue is regarding providing the extension mechanism itself not a module implementation with some new feature implemented. Regarding the feature you describe in your module I wonder if it suits coming under a Refactoring menu in the main toolbar such as that I describe here - http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2924 There are some other options I've suggested for that menu, see issues 2925, 2926, 3403, 3541, 4543 I'm not sure if "Refactoring" is really the correct term for all these. Maybe "Transform" or "Convert" would be a better grouping. Whatever we call this I wonder if it is worth creating a new subcomponent in ArgoUML for these and Enricos features can make a start.
