I think I've got the profile issues fixed, but I'm going through now
cleaning up all the profile tests which don't clean up after
themselves (e.g. load profiles, but don't unload them again).

The bug reports seem to imply that this is something which broke
relatively recently, but I can't see how it ever worked since the
necessary code wasn't in place. The only thing I can think of is that
if you started with no profiles loaded the problem might have been
better masked.

Who is responsible for the profiles these days? I know Linus mentored
the original implementation, but I've seen more changes recently from
Luis. Is the student gone entirely? I'd like to see things greatly
simplified, but I'm not sure whether there is a hidden need for the
complexity that I don't understand.

I'll see if I can get the initial batch of fixes done today. There
are a lot of corner cases for things like MagicDraw files, profiles in
JARs, etc so I'll need help testing.

Tom
