Interesting...

I notice that the case study will be based on an activity diagram that
has been created with ArgoUML -
http://is.ieis.tue.nl/staff/pvgorp/events/TTC2010/cases/ttc2010_submission_2_v2010-04-06.pdf

I wonder if this is due to some recent discussions I had with one of
the authors of that paper. Dimitios Kolovos maintains
http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~dkolovos/uml14/ and
http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~dkolovos/uml2/ and I had mentioned to
him I was finding it useful in comparing the UML versions while we are
moving from one to the other.

Then again maybe there are just not so many UML1.4 tools around at the moment.

For myself I don't think attending this would be a great use of my
time. I'm too busy trying to implement UML2 support to also put too
much effort into a transformation process. So long as we can support
both models for some time I'm not too concerned. The activity diagrams
are not an area I know a great deal of and I don't think I'd have the
level of knowledge to turn up at such an event, be useful and
represent our organisation effectively.

However we certainly may benefit from the outcome of any work from this.

If anyone else wants to attend and believes they do have the skills
and background required then I wonder if we can consider giving
financial support to help them do so from our GSOC earnings.

Regards

Bob.
