Thanks for the links Michiel I agree that we should have limited items in the combo but I'm not sure we have the correct limit for this specific item at the moment.
I also agree with the extra dialog for letting the user navigate through the whole model for the more unusual or wider cases they may need. I'm wondering about some "..." button next to the combo that will allow for a wider selection. I can place some indicator in the panel xml for then this is required. As I said though, I think we do need to improve the limited list based on what I am seeing here though. In the users example model there are two classes in the same package and each class has an operation. One of those classes also contains the event. On that event its not possible to select either of the operations even though one is in the same class as the event and the other is in the same package. Please take a look at the model if you get the chance.
