You would have thought there would be something but it seems not For UML1.4 there is a DTD here - http://www.omg.org/spec/UML/1.4/
For 2.x there is nothing that I can see. At this link http://www.omg.org/technology/documents/modeling_spec_catalog.htm#UML all that is stated is "NOTE: Version 2.0 does not have XSD or XML associated files due to structural problems with the UML metamodel."
