There are actually two possibilities now: 1. transforming a Simple State into a Composite state (but not vice versa). 2. transforming one event type into another: Time Event, Change Event, Call Event, Signal Event. The transformation feature is activated by right-clicking on the source element in the diagram or explorer. The pop-up menu that then appears contains a "Transformation" item with a sub-menu for the possible target element types. The transformation code is written as one of ArgoUMLs core modules. The transformation copies a lot of structural information over from the old element to the new element. E.g. for the transformation from a simple state into a composite state, this consists of: - name - transitions - the container state - entry, exit, do events - internal transitions - deferrable events ------------------------------------------------------ http://argouml.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=450&dsMessageId=2689297 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]].
