I have the same feeling since I haven't heard of any testing done. I have
just been assuming that testing is going on. I also wanted to make a quick
release, I always tend to wait too long so everything is delayed. That is
the reason for the very short beta period.
I get the impression that you would like to prolong the beta period and
communicate to the users. I agree that this is probably a good idea.
I will give it another two weeks and publish information as News item, and
on users' forum.
I would also like you all to know this:
- The developers' mailing, that I have communicated this on, has around
300 members (and 1100 bogus members but that is some other problem). It is
possible that most of these are old and not working addresses but
none-theless that is how it looks.
- The 0.32.BETA_1 has been downloaded 107 times (a summary of all
different formats).
