p.s. Specifically concerning TaggedValues, see the end section 18.3.8 of the UML 2.1.2 (the version I have to hand, but should be the same in similar versions) superstructure spec. It contains a discussion of what's changed between UML 1.4 and UML 2.x.
ArgoUML never fully implemented the UML 1.4 tagged value model, so a lot of what you'll see is still based on UML 1.3 limitations.
