I haven't done anything to this yet. Neither of the alternatives where
inspiring. A move to github to get a better alternative is possible. I am
just concerned that there is a lot of work involved to get it working again.

Who, with enough knowledge of git and svn is willing to lead the work of
planning and completing the transition? I consider my own git and git hub
experience as not enough for this undertaking.
