That's the usual way to have a multi-project-root vote.

As long as you are doing the releases all on the same machine, the release 
candidates will all accumulate in your local maven repo and be available for 
use in subsequent release stagings.  This won't help anyone else unless they 
also build all the projects in order on their machine (for instance if they are 
voting, they should be building the source archive since that's really the 
released artifact).
