The parent pom has been updated since 0.4 with changes for the following issues:
ARIES-679 Some JDK5 compatibility sniff testing for projects that generate
Java5 byte code
ARIES-691 Add tests for EclipseLink - possibly include fragment for EclipseLink
support
ARIES-718 EJB support in Apache Aries - upgrade PAX logging to get necessary
bug fixes
ARIES-679 and ARIES-691 introduced functional changes so next release should be
0.5 (last one was 0.4).
