Hi all,

This is a re-post of a vote which googlemail has helpfully threaded in
with other emails, completely hiding it. :(

I've staged a release candidate for some 1.0.0 Aries API bundles (the
ones with no dependencies). Verifying this release should be quick and
easy. To verify this release, cut and paste:

wget --no-check-certificate
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/aries/scripts/verify_staged_release.sh
chmod a+x verify_staged_release.sh
./verify_staged_release.sh 269 mytempdirectory &> verifyresults.txt
grep FAIL verifyresults.txt

into a cygwin, mac, or linux terminal.

The following Aries top level modules are staged and tagged in
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/aries/tags/:

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/aries/tags/org.apache.aries.jmx.api-1.0.0/
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/aries/tags/org.apache.aries.jndi.api-1.0.0/
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/aries/tags/org.apache.aries.jpa.api-1.0.0/
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/aries/tags/org.apache.aries.quiesce.api-1.0.0/

The artifacts are in
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachearies-269/.
Links to the *.zip files for each module are provided below. There are
no dependencies between the modules so they can be built in any order.

The RAT and IANAL build checks passed (DEPENDENCIES files were
incorrectly flagged as RAT failures).

The vote has been open for 72 hours and will continue for a while longer. :)
