The OSGi Asynchronous Services RFC-206 defines a new Promises API that will be
released with the R6 framework.
This (~100Kb) patch is a sample implementation of the Promises API, created
from scratch using only the API defined in RFC-206.
The aim was to quickly create a conformant implementation, not a "best"
implementation, so the code can undoubtedly be improved,
It contains its own unit tests, but these may miss some test-cases from the
formal compatibility tests.
