[~joakime] will changing the bytecode with asm 7 for Java 11 break
compatibility with Java 8? I'd love any assistance you could provide with the
bytecode btw... I'm frankly lacking expertise in this area and there's actually
a change I'm wanting to make that would need some assistance in this area (to
support the \{{ServiceLoader.load(Class, ClassLoader)}} method.
