Joseph Chacko commented on ARIES-2005:
--------------------------------------

When we tied up the versions properly, the tests started failing. We tracked
this down to the BundleContextMock in the unit test support library returning
empty string instead of null for undefined properties. Once we resolved that
issue, the unit tests failed because the production code expect
Bundle.adapt(SomeClass.class) to result in a valid SomeClass object, which is
not a safe assumption in the unit test mock environment. We altered the
handling code to avoid ClassCastExceptions in these cases.

> Cannot build (mvn install) Aries JNDI on clean development environment
