It seems our earlier effort stalled (I feel it was really complex personally but I also wasn't doing the work :) but it was a valiant effort.)
I'd really like something in the main repo with no external machinery (like jekyll, at least I'm familiar with it), it would just simplify things a whole lot (since we have so few active maintainers.)
