Hi all, We’ve had quite a lot of interest from Typed Event users in using the single-level wildcard support from the 1.1 branch, but this release is “stuck” as a SNAPSHOT until the OSGi specfication finalises and provides the new API. This is causing some grief for users as it means that they can’t release code using the new topic syntax.
I’ve been able to extract the single-level wildcard support and back port it into the existing Typed Events release branch. I have ensured that the new behaviour is only available if explicitly configured (to avoid us being non-compliant with the 1.0 specification). I’d like to be able to release this soon so that users can start to use the single level wildcards in a released version, but thought that I should gather some feedback before I begin the process in case there are any objections to what I propose.
