Hi @wilx thank you for the contribution. I verified the build locally and in the current state it pass the tests. I wanted to run the tests also on GH so created #879 but GH Actions suffers some [issues currently](https://www.githubstatus.com/). Meantime I am working on ARIES-2240 since javadoc needs to pass without errors for the release (it hit me last time I was releasing some other artifacts). When you run the build via `mvn clean install javadoc:jar -f spi-fly` on Java 8 then you will spot some issues comming from the file you added. On higher Java LTS versions there is even more issues but Java 8 is currently the version on which we should release.
