My first try is to run the java build on CentOS release 6.8(Final) and it reports "/lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found ...(required by flatc-linux-x86_64-1.2.0-3f79e055.exe)" so I switched to CentOS 7.1, it works like a charm, I think it is not a blocker, but it could be better if mention it in README or add Docker support later.
For the cpp build, it reports "unrecognized command line option '-maltivec' " that probably is caused by my hardware configuration, it could be better if have a cmake module to check this condition, It is not a blocker for this release. My vote is +1 (non-binding) Thanks. +Gary. On 2/13/2017 9:25 AM, Uwe L.
