Having to call {{equals()}} is un-Pythonic:

>>> pa.frombuffer(b'foo') == pa.frombuffer(b'foo')
False
>>> pa.frombuffer(b'foo').equals(pa.frombuffer(b'foo'))
True

Same for many other pyarrow types, incidently.
