My opinion is that we should continue to support Rust stable since there are users who can only use Arrow if it works with Rust stable.
However, maybe it is possible to provide an API so that users can provide their own allocators and in that case they could choose to use nightly? It's a bit more work for us, but gives users more choice. Also, SIMD and alloc are both going to be stabilized very soon anyway so we might not have to wait too long. Thanks, Andy.
