I'm fine with cutting an RC3. ARROW-4258 seems pretty bad. If We decide to create a new RC how should We deal with the recent JS refactoring [1]?
On OSX the verification worked well though, except a plasma issue. Uwe, if You have time please verify it on OSX too.
