Sorry, but I have to vote -1 on this RC. This bug turned out to be serious and can cause correctness issues due to race conditions when running with many physical cores. Luckily the fix is trivial and we have a PR up to remove the optimization that introduced this issue: https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/10069
