I ran into some issues: - Source verification for C++ fails with USE_CONDA=1 because mamba for whatever reason resolves orc==1.6.4 which is too old to build adapters/orc/adapter.cc. Manually patching the extracted source after verification works around this (although this is annoying to do). - A spurious error if you have a Conda environment activate without USE_CONDA=1 (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-16347) - Binary verification consistently fails for Ubuntu hirsute. - Wheel verification for Python 3.9/manylinux2014 segfaulted in test_exec_plan.py. It passed on a re-run.
I'm going to give everything another try tomorrow before voting and see if I can file an issue for the wheel issue.
