Hello, This vote is to determine if the Arrow PMC is in favor of accepting the donation of Comet (a Spark native engine that is powered by DataFusion and the Rust implementation of Arrow).
The donation was previously discussed on the mailing list [1]. The proposed donation is at [2]. The Arrow PMC will start the IP clearance process if the vote passes. There is a Google document [3] where the community is working on the draft contents for the IP clearance form. The vote will be open for at least 72 hours.
