If you are talking about replication, then yes, the tests exist. They cover a complete failover/failback lifecycle for NCs as well as the metadata node. These tests are included in the cluster-test profile. The cluster testing is supposed to be done after every merge or on a weekly basis but I don't think it has been enabled yet.
