Hey Vivek, Normally, to prevent abuse, for new contributors, we review their patches manually and upload them to Gerrit on their behalf if the patch looks good. If you can send the patch either as PR on Github or as a diff to this list, or some other way you find convenient, someone would be happy to take a look at it.
