Signed off as well.

FYI: As of next week I'll be offline for 3 weeks holiday.

I’ve added a slightly modified version of the first proposal (still a lot less

This version should be ready for mentor sign-off.

Sure, not a problem.

Regarding our website, we have a final draft of a new version, written
using Jekyll and Bootstrap, that should go up just before the release.

As for the issue migration from Google code to JIRA, the first step
was finding a way to get the content into a form that would be
acceptable to import into JIRA. There are two general ways to go at
this, one is writing a script that goes over the data and imports it
via the JIRA API, and another is to transform that data into a form
that JIRA accepts upon import. Given that the Google Code issues are
outputted as a JSON document, and JIRA supports JSON import of issues,
this seemed like a possibility, but of course the expected formats
between Google Code and JIRA were different. We used AsterixDB to
convert between the two formats, and output the issues in a format
that should work for import into JIRA.
We're still waiting on infrastructure though. I posted the converted
file on Friday but I haven't heard anything yet.

Thanks, Till! @Ian, can you take a crack at adding some more details around
the Issues migration?
(And our website status, etc.?)
Thx!

AsterixDB

Apache AsterixDB is a scalable big data management system (BDMS) that
provides
storage, management, and query capabilities for large collections of semi-
structured data.

AsterixDB has been incubating since 2015-02-28.

Three most important issues to address in the move towards graduation:

1. Do an Apache release.
2. Migrate issues from Google Code
3. Grow community

Any issues that the Incubator PMC (IPMC) or ASF Board wish/need to be
aware of?

No, moving steadily.

How has the community developed since the last report?

A little more outside interest in the project.

How has the project developed since the last report?

Google code issues imported into AsterixDB to use AsterixDB for
transformation and migration
2nd version of website under discussion
Development is ongoing.

Date of last release:

No Releases yet.

When were the last committers or PMC members elected?

No elected PMC and/or committers

Dear podling,

This email was sent by an automated system on behalf of the Apache
Incubator PMC.
It is an initial reminder to give you plenty of time to prepare your
quarterly
board report.

The board meeting is scheduled for Wed, 15 July 2015, 10:30 am PST. The
report
for your podling will form a part of the Incubator PMC report. The
Incubator PMC
requires your report to be submitted 2 weeks before the board meeting,
to allow
sufficient time for review and submission (Wed, Jul 1st).

Please submit your report with sufficient time to allow the incubator
PMC, and
subsequently board members to review and digest. Again, the very latest
you
should submit your report is 2 weeks prior to the board meeting.

Thanks,

The Apache Incubator PMC

Submitting your Report
----------------------

Your report should contain the following:

* Your project name
* A brief description of your project, which assumes no knowledge of the
project
   or necessarily of its field
* A list of the three most important issues to address in the move
towards
   graduation.
* Any issues that the Incubator PMC or ASF Board might wish/need to be
aware of
* How has the community developed since the last report
* How has the project developed since the last report.

This should be appended to the Incubator Wiki page at:

http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/July2015

Note: This is manually populated. You may need to wait a little before
this page
      is created from a template.

Mentors
-------
Mentors should review reports for their project(s) and sign them off on
the
Incubator wiki page. Signing off reports shows that you are following
the
project - projects that are not signed may raise alarms for the
Incubator PMC.
