[~madhan.neethiraj] . If we can allow renames (when safe to do so) then we
would not effect any instances. Deleting a type - presumably means we delete
all the instances - and then need to recreate them.
Tactically, I suggest that this Jira be used to throw an error on on renames.
Maybe when we implement versioning, renames could be made to work on a version
increase boundary.
